Sometimes you see something and you are compelled to look twice.  This is one such item.  On Monday Penny and I were having lunch at Portland and out of the corner of my eye I saw movement.  It was a truck being lifted vertically to around 70 degrees to empty the contents of the double trailer.  From what I could see the truck drives on to the ramp.  Then it is clamped into position and the rear doors are opened.  Then it is hydraulically lifted until it is at an angle of 70 degrees to empty the contents.  It is then lowered and the truck drives off to get another load.  The truck empty is probably about 30 tons.  Full with wood chips around 100 tons...  Now that is impressive.
