Descending

A couple descend between the floors at the NGV

Cinematic experience

The NGV have a major gallery setup with a cinematic room.  This image gives some idea of what it is like.  Of course due to the subject it was screaming out for the cinematic treatment

Contemplation

Yesterday was a perfect summers day here in Melbourne and I spotted this bloke reading a document and socially distancing in the middle of the moat at the National Gallery of Victoria

The portal

On this day in 2018, we had a tour of Cape Schank lighthouse.  I snapped this image with my mobile as we were leaving the building

Cinematic landscape

I rather like the cinematic treatment of the previous image.  Ratio 2.35 x 1.  The tree is in the perfect rule of thirds position.

Landscape

On this day in 2014 we were on the way to South Australia to watch the Tour Down Under.  This image was captured in the western districts of Victoria and perfectly captures the vibrant colours of an Australian summer

Film noir

On this day in 2015 I did a stills photo shoot for a play called "The fastest clock in the universe" that was being directed Robert Chuter.  I have since done other projects with Robert including several movie shoots.  Pictured is Scout Boxall who played Sherbert Gravel.

The watcher

Amidst the noise of the big grey city the woman sits and watches.

The fisherman

On this day back in 2014 I was at Seaford Pier where I captured this image.  It was a day not dissimilar to today.  Looking at Google maps it seems the pier has sustained some damage in the intervening time
