The year in review - March 2019

March was all about donuts...  Thanks to the scavenger hunt...  YUM!  The lava bombs from the American Doughnut kitchen at the Vic market are my favourite.  Balls of dough rolled in sugar and filled with lava AKA strawberry jam.  A coma in every mouthful

The year in review - February 2019

February was about a road trip... Destination Broken Hill.  We were on a quest for a photo matching the theme of remote...  When you are on a road and the next 240 kilometres have kangaroos to be aware of you are definitely remote.  This image wasn't used in the end.

The year in review - January 2019

Let me get this out of the way now...  I really love pro cycling races.  In January we went to the Philip Island GP track and watched the Herald Sun tour.  It was awesome.  There was nowhere you couldn't go on the track. Cycling for a photographer means you can get right into the thick of things.

On this day - 1st of January

If new years eve was about fireworks then new years day was about fire spinning.  This was taken on new years day in 2014 on a firewalk arranged by Paul P and the Photograph Melbourne group on Google+.  This was hand held as I did not bring a tripod.

New dawn

This is the scene out my window 5 minutes ago...  Happy new year
