Landscape

Here is another to add to my cinematic theme.  This is Logans beach near Warnambool in Victoria.  You can see fog draping over the escarpment like waterfalls off into the distance.  Aside from contrast tweaks and a cinematic crop this is pretty much how it looked on the day.

Education

The exam hall at the University of Melbourne.  I was walking through the Uni on my way to work and snapped this through the window in 2018.  I just loved the way the morning light filled the hall

Sunrise across the fields

This was the scene on Sunday morning from our bed and breakfast.

Adult

Word of the day - Adult

For every child there must be a supervising adult

Child

Word of the day - CHILD

There is nothing like a swing hanging from a tree to bring out the inner child

Superman

On this day last year I saw Superman...  He was a little hung up

The first cup is the deepest

Yesterday I bought a new coffee plunger.  There is nothing like the first cup of coffee in the morning.  I have mine black no sugar

The bread shop

There is something comforting in ordinary scenes...  This is my local bread shop getting ready for the inevitable Sunday morning rush.  Sometimes we take what we have for granted.

Vale SK Warne

It was awesome to watch you play.  I visited what is becoming a shrine to Shane Warne at the MCG yesterday.  The tributes from fans are excellent.  I especially loved the open stubbies of his favourite beer.  Those that drank them drank them in his memory.  In his 52 years he lived 200.  Larger than life

Come visit Melbourne

To all my friends in New South Wales and Queensland… I feel for you with all your rain right now. Might be a good time to come to Melbourne for a holiday. This is the view out my window right now. 29C and not a cloud in the sky 🙂
